Bindings, Bindings and more Bindings (BAKERSFIELD)
Join Christy for this hands-on class to learn different binding techniques to finish your edges. We will discuss facings, envelope backings, rollover edges and flanged/ piped edges. Students will also practice sewing samples of bias and straight of grain bindings using hand sewing and machine stitched finishes.
Supply List:
Sewing machine & manual with working familiarity of your machine
Thread (this is a great class to use all your odd colors!)
Hand sewing needles
Quilting or Topstitch needles for your machine
Scissors & thread nippers
Small 2 ½” square ruler, hem gauge or 1” x 6” ruler
