Sampler Quilt (BAKERSFIELD)

This six week class will take the beginning quilt student to the next level of quilting.  Students will make nine basic quilt blocks and then learn to add sashing and cornerstones to their quilt.  This quilt is a fun one to make to expand your quilting knowledge.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Students should have a basic knowledge of their sewing machine
Requirements: Supply List: 2 yards of back ground fabric, 5 different 1/2 yard fabrics, Sewing machine and manual, 1/4" or quilting foot, Small scissors, Grey thread, recommend Mettler 0331, 8 1/2 X 24 1/2" ruler and 6 1/2" square ruler (recommend Creative Grid rulers), Cutting mat 18 X 24", Seam ripper, Glass head pins, Project box, Pencil and paper for notes
