Beginning Quilting (BAKERSFIELD)
Students will learn to use rulers and a rotary cutter to make this quilt. They will learn to strip piece their blocks. To sew their rows together to make the top. Also, students will learn to sew on borders to keep the center of their quilt flat. The last two things the students will learn is to quilt their quilt tops using a walking foot and their sewing machines. Finally, to finish their quilt hand sew their binding on.
*ALL SUPPLIES NEED TO BE PURCHASED BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS*

Mettler 0331 (one large or 2 small) One wound bobbin Rotary cutter with a new blade 8 1/2" X 24 1/2" quilting ruler and a 6 1/2" square ruler - recommend creative grid rulers Cutting mat, at least 18 x 24 Seam ripper Glass head pins Safety pins 1" Hera marker Walking foot Project box Pencil and paper for notes |
