Kid's Club (BAKERSFIELD)
Kid's Club Bakersfield is a one Saturday a month class, from 10am to 1pm, for ages 10 to 18 to continue learning and growing their basic sewing skills. Students are recommended to have some basic sewing experience or be a previous attendee of Kid's Camp. With a new project each month, participants will be able to further develop their finishing skills. Basic sewing supplies will be provided, and kits will also be included with small projects. Occasionally, additional supply purchases may be necessary for larger projects. Please inquire by calling the store, asking in person, or via email.
Participants are welcome to bring their own machines that they are familiar with. No machine?? No problem!!! Cherry Berry Quilts will provide Baby Lock Joy machines for use in class for those who don't have their own at no additional cost.
Projects will be different each month ranging from very simple to more challenging as skills are built. We recommend monthly attendance but no obligation for the full year is required. The goal for Kid's Club is to build on the introduction of sewing, helping hone skills in sewing seams, vocabulary and terms, and finishing techniques.
