Pillow with a Hidden Zipper (BAKERSFIELD)

Learn bow to make a finished pillow from a sampler block, applique techique class, or home dec fabric. Ever want to create a cute pillow to go with your quilt, then this is the class for you. The class will focus on minimal quilting to the front of the pillow, and learn how to create a finished lined pillow with a hidden zipper under a pillow flap. You WILL need your sewing machine in good working order and an open toe foot for this class. You will be guided throughout the process and your fear of inserting a zipper should disappear! I am here to help you make a beautiful finished pillow.
Supply List:
Sewing machine in good working order with an open toe foot (#20 or 20D Bernina foot if you have a Bernina)
24" Ruler, cutting mat, thread (neutral color), snips/scissors
Zipper 18 - 20"
Pillow insert 20" or 18"
Backing fabric - 1 yard
1/2 yard for zipper flap and binding
1 yard muslin for lining
1 yard fusible batting (20" x 20")
