T-shirt Quilt (BAKERSFIELD)
Students will learn to prepare t-shirts to make a memory quilt. They will also leanr to use sashings and cornerstones to compliment the t-shirts.
We will only be preparing 12 shirts in class but if you want to make the quilt larger, fabric requirements will be given in class.
This class is a beginning level class.
Please have all supples bought prior to class!!
First Night:
12 t-shirts
5 yards of shape flex or one package of June Taylor t-shirt fusible interfasing
Rotary cutter with new blade
Cutting mat at least 18x24 inches
12 1/2 inch square
Good pair of scissors
Pressing cloth
Second Night:
Fabric for sashing and borders
Thread to match
Sewing machine in good working order
Sewing machine manual
Glass head pins
Scissors
