Quick & Cozy Christmas Quilt (BAKERSFIELD)
Come join Andi for an evening of making a fun and fast flannel quilt! Students will learn how to add borders correctly and make a bias binding. Students will be making just the quilt top in class. This is the perfect project for quick seasonal quilts or for gifts!
Fabric Needed:
- 1 yard of focal print flannel (cookie print)
- 1 yard of plaid print flannel
- 3/4 yard contrast print flannel (Santa face)
- 3 1/4 yards flannel for backing
- Throw size batting or 60" x 60" piece of batting
Sewing Supples:
- Sewing machine in good working order (please bring manual if you have it)
- Colored thread of your choice & matching bobbin - Andi loves using either Mettler or Aurifil thread
- Small scissors
- Seam ripper
- Glass head pins
- Rotary cutter
- 18" x 24" rotary cutting mat
- Rulers: 8 1/2" x 24" & 6 1/2"
