Make a Cleo Skirt (BAKERSFIELD)
The Cleo Skirt is a great basic skirt to expand your garment making and pattern reading skills. It's straight forward shape features a flat front waistband with an elastic casing in the back. With length and pocket options, this skirt is a great add to your closet.
Supplies:
Cleo Skirt Pattern (Available in store)
Sewing machine in good working order
Sewing pins
Fabric and paper shears and scissors
Thread to match fabric
Fabric amount based on pattern size (3 yards is generous for a solid View A Skirt)
1/8 yard of lightweight fusible interfacing (such as Pellon Featherweight or SF101)
1 yard of 1" elastic
Optional:
Pattern Ease to trace pattern size
