Mini Brick Road Table Runner (BAKERSFIELD)
You've seen the Yellow Brick Road quilt, now use similar methods on a smaller scale to make a cute tabler runner. So get ready to bust out those Charm Packs.
Students will be using a charm pack to make this table runner. They will practice in accurate cutting of small pieces.
Supplies:
- Mini Brick Road Pattern (available in store)
- One charm pack
- 1/4 yard of fabric for binding
- 1/2 yard of fabric for backing
- An 18" x 42" piece of batting
- Sewing machine in good working order and manual
- 1/4" foot (quilting foot)
- Small snippy scissors and fabric shears
- Thread, recommend Mettler 0331 light grey 1 large or 2 small
- Rotary cutter and mat 18" x 24"
- One wound bobbin
- 8 1/2" x 24 1/2" ruler and a 6 1/2" square ruler
- Seam ripper
- Glass head pins
- A project box to keep everything in
