Tabbed Dish Towel (BAKERSFIELD)

Join Beverly to learn how to create this versatile hanging towel that can be customized to fit any decor, kitchen or bathroom! Students will learn to stitch a clean finished tabbed top to button over a towel bar or appliance handle, add decorative bands, pleat or gather towleing by the yard (sold at the shop) or with a purchased hand towel.
SUPPLY LIST:
* Sewing machine in good working order & manual
* Thread & full bobbin to match project
* Button, snap or velcro to finish tab closure
* Straight Pins
* Wonder Clips (available at the shop)
* New sewing machine needle (bring extra just in case)
* Marking pens
* Point turner
* Rotary cutter/ mat & ruler for cutting
* Scissors
* Thread snips
* Small ruler or hem gauge
* Pattern will be provided to students the day of class
FABRIC:
* 1/4yd of (4) different fabrics - IF fabric is DIRECTIONAL, you will need 1/3yd of the (2) main fabrics for the tab top
* 1/4yd Fusible fleece
* 1yd Toweling (available at the shop) - this will give you enough for (2) towels
