Lori Holt Honey Bee Garden Applique Quilt (BAKERSFIELD)

Interested in an applique class with the option for hand applique or machine applique techniques? Join Pam for this fun Honey Bee Garden Quilt by Lori Holt. Learn to applique with templates! Meeting once per month for 4 months will provide time for block completion. You will learn how to use freezer paper/starch method or the machine applique skills to make this lovely quilt. I will be sewing along with the participants to complete the quilt.

* Sew Simple Shapes: Honey Bee Garden LH templates available at CB quilts – EVERYONE must have their own set of simple shapes.
* Freezer paper (Reynolds/or other brand)
* Best Press Starch (in a small jar)
* ¼” flat brush
* Small task iron
* Ironing pad/mat (no wands)
* Awl
* Scissors (small curved if you have it) for paper and fabric
* Pencil
* Roxanne’s Glue Baste it
* #11 straw needles
* Needle threader
* Small task light or light box
* 100 wt silk threads to match applique fabrics (at least lights, greens, gray, pinks/red) or 80 wt cotton thread.
