Dizzy Days Irish Chain (BAKERSFIELD)

This quilt uses a layer cake, a few yards of fabric and easy piecing to create a perfect sized quilt for all occasions. This is a good quilt for beginners to practice their piecing skills and for the advanced quilter to make an easy quilt. Only the quilt top will be made in class. Fabric requirements listed are for the child size quilt shown in the shop.
Supply List:
* Dizzy Days Irish Chain pattern - available at the shop
* 1 layer cake or (42) 10" squares or 1 yard worth of scraps!
* 2 1/8 yards of coordinating fabric for background
* 1/2 yard for binding
* 3 yards of fabric for backing
* Throw size batting
* Sewing machine (I recommend replacing the needle with a new one) & sewing machine manual
* ¼ inch foot
* Small snippy scissors for snipping threads and large scissors
* Mettler light grey thread #331 or other neutral color to match your project
* One wound bobbin
* Rotary cutter with a new blade
* Rulers 8 ½ X 24 ½ and a 6 ½ inch square – I recommend Creative Grid
* Cutting mat at least 18 X 24 inches
* Seam ripper
* Glass head pins
* Sandwich sized ziploc baggies
* Sharpie pen
* Project Box
